Marc Fisher is professor of neurology and radiology at the University of Massachusetts and serves as the spokesman of the Clinical Advisory Board. As chairman of the STAIR-committee (STAIR: Stroke Therapy Academic Industry Roundtable) he is involved in the determination of the best practice in clinical research of stroke. Representing a very experienced clinician with worldwide reputation in stroke trials as well as radiologist, he combines clinical expertise with innovative diffusion MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) knowledge and enables a fast-track development of compounds in clinical trials.
Dr. James Grotta, director of the stroke program of the University of Texas possesses more than 20 years in clinical treatment as well as research of stroke. He is a recipient of the famous American Heart Association's William M. Feinberg Award for Excellence in Clinical Stroke and conducted therapeutic trials of hemodilution, calcium antagonists and other neuroprotective strategies and most recently thrombolytic therapy with rt-PA. Thus, he gained significant experience in the successful accomplishment of clinical trials testing compounds with various therapeutic approaches.
